Welcome back - hope you had a blessed holiday, and rested well...I'm thankful I am here with you for this year!

Now, back  to YOUR Learning Something NEW!!! - Become an expert - research is the key!  We will focus on research skills over the next few weeks:

Research projects:
11th grade:  Advertising techniques or Mark Twain literary critique, your choice
10th grade:  Advertising and special interest groups
Writing class:  Science or tech topics, your choice
Communication Skills:  Exotic animals

The basics of research are applicable to every grade/level; higher leveled/grade classes will apply intermediate to advanced research skills.

The Week of Oct 28-Nov 1st is Kindness Week at Milton High School.  Get involved with acts of kindness by:
Monday - heying, high fiving everyone
Tuesday - mix it up lunch:  sit with someone new! Get to know a new person
Wednesday:  donate coats and cans of food for the needy:  see the box in the ESOL room!
Thursday:  do an act of kindness for someone and tweet about it
Friday:  Appreciation Day:  appreciate someone's efforts
