Let's Rule 2015!!!
3 keys to success in '15:

1. BE HERE!!!
2. TRY!!!
3. HAVE FUN!!!! - so what if you make mistakes.........just remember Ms. Coln and techy stuff...I still try!

This semester is going to fly so
STAY WITH THE PACK by:

1. participating in class
2. do the work -
3. get IMMEDIATE help if you can't.  Don't wait til the last minute.

You will have several important assessments this semester; we'll get through them together.
Do you UTMOST to be here for these dates:

1.  First up - ACCESS language proficiency test dates:  Friday January 30 - speaking;
Tuesday and Wednesday, February 10th and 11th: listening, reading, writing

ALL current ESOL stsudents are required to take this.  You can prepare for it by doing the keys to success listed above.  You will not need to do extra work or study for this.  SO -  relax, but be here and be a part of the learning experience this semester.

2.  EOCs - end of April. These are for selected core courses you are taking.  We will discuss these in class. How to prepare:  do the 3 keys to success and stay with the pack suggestions listed above.

3. SLOs - end of April, beginning of May for all non EOC classes.  Preparation for this is the same as for the above assessments - check out the 3 keys to success and stay with the pack info.

Take care of yourselves, help each other, get help when you need it from the awesome staff at Milton, and let's do this together - we're a team, a group, a school family.

We can do this.  Let's set a date to be at graduation TOGETHER ..............

6 weeks left!!!
Give this your best effort...
If you do not have a passing grade in a course, talk to your teacher.  ASK for credit recovery, extra credit, make-up work; in other words, do what it takes to get yourself a passing grade.  Let your teacher see you are endeavoring to make an effort.  See Ms. Carman or myself for extra help or direction in how to proceed.

Extra EOCT practice is being offered by many teachers on Saturdays.   ESOL 11th lit will be offered on an upcoming Saturday.  See me or the M2 edition online to get dates and times.
