1. Complete Student Info Sheet, finish for homework: ACCURACY PLEASE!!!
2. Intro to course: go over syllabus and course outline sheets.
3. Review “Week at a Glance”. Highlight standard.
Keep this and ALL assignments in notebook.
4. Pass out “Autographs, Please!” assignment. Pair Interview: mark activities you did
5. Sentence/Writing packets for next 2 weeks: Set the standard for 9th grade writing
Homework:
1. Parents sign syllabus for a grade and info sheet with ALL NECESSARY phone numbers/e-mail addresses.
2. Think about most memorable object of vacation: beach object/food you ate/sunset/person??? Write object on front of packet. Be ready to describe it tomorrow in class.
3. Bring highlighter to class tomorrow!!!

3. Brainstorm objects seen on vacation. Then complete p. 4 packet - substitute vacation objects for ordinary objects listed on top of p. 4; do pair exercise, bottom p. 4
